What is an EEG pad?
An EEG (electroencephalogram) pad is a sensor placed within a pad that sticks to the head. The pad is placed on the head to send signals measuring brain activity to a monitor, on which the readings are displayed. The pad does not hurt.

An EEG pad is used when the doctor wants to monitor the electrical activity in the brain.
