Urinary Drainage Collector
What is a urinary drainage collector?
A urinary drainage collector is a plastic bag that is attached to the urinary catheter and collects the urine. Typically the urinary drainage collector will be seen hanging from the side of the bed. Most urinary drainage collectors have numbers marking the side of the collector that allows the ICU staff to make accurate measurements.
